You can delete your Taskplore account and request deletion of your data at any time, whether or not you still have the app installed. This page explains how to do it and exactly what happens to your information afterward.
Option 1: Delete your account in the app
In Taskplore
- Open Taskplore and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Under the Account section, choose Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion.
Your account and personal data are deleted as described below. This is the fastest way to submit a deletion request.
Option 2: Request deletion without the app
By email
If you no longer have the app installed, can't sign in, or would rather not use the in-app option, email info@mkdev.qa from the address associated with your account, with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Include your name so the Service Provider can locate and verify your account.
Requests submitted this way are processed within 30 days, or sooner where required by applicable law. The Service Provider may ask you to verify your identity before completing the request.
What gets deleted
- Your account profile: name, email address, profile photo, and Google Sign-In link.
- Any project, task, checklist, or approval request that only you had access to.
- Any file or photo you attached to your own tasks, other than attachments on shared projects (see below).
What is retained, and why
Taskplore is built for teams, so some content you created may be shared with a project rather than private to you. To avoid disrupting a project your teammates still rely on, the following is handled differently:

| Tasks, checklists, and approval requests within a shared project | Remain visible to your former teammates so the project's history stays intact. Your name is replaced with "Former member," and your profile photo and contact details are removed. |
| Files or photos you attached to a shared task | Remain attached to that task for the project's team, with your identifying information removed. |
| Records required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes | Retained only as long as required by applicable law, then deleted. |
If you'd prefer that shared content be removed entirely rather than anonymized, mention this when you submit your request and the Service Provider will review what's possible without affecting your teammates' access to the project.
